The University of Sheffield International College gives you the perfect introduction to studying abroad. We teach more than 2,000 students every year, preparing them for the challenges of studying their undergraduate or postgraduate degree at a top-ranking Russell Group University. For many international students, studying abroad brings some challenges that need a little extra support. Our international pathway programmes are delivered by Study Group and developed in collaboration with academics from the University, so you will know what to expect during your degree. What's more, the International College has a bespoke new building, ideal for international students and central to the city. Sheffield is one of the 24 universities that make up the Russell Group. Strong international support : Over 8,000 international students from 150 countries currently study at the University of Sheffield. It’s a place where new ideas are encouraged and nurtured. Awesome on-campus facilities and extracurriculars : Students will find excellent facilities, study areas and the number 1 Students’ Union in the country. The University of Sheffield International College is located on the main campus. International College students are welcome to join in with many of the events held by the University and Students’ Union. Students can join societies, start their own clubs, or get involved in campaigning for a better future as an associate member of the Students’ Union. Convenient and safe location : The University of Sheffield campus is in the heart of the city and has everything students need within walking distance. It’s a friendly, safe, multicultural city in the north of England offering plenty to see and do. Sheffield is one of the UK’s most popular places for students to go to university. The city is large enough to offer a great range of restaurants, shopping, theatre, cinemas, bars and culture; yet small enough for students to find their way around quickly and feel part of the community. Located in the county of South Yorkshire, in the north of England, Sheffield offers plenty to do both in the city and surrounding area. Students can easily travel around the UK from here too.
