The International Foundation Year in Business, Social Sciences and Humanities will prepare students for a chosen undergraduate degree in the humanities and social sciences at Sheffield. The Faculty of Social Sciences includes the Management School, the School of Law and Sheffield School of Architecture. The Foundation program has been developed in collaboration with the University of Sheffield, so modules are relevant to students' fields of study. Core modules are studied by everyone on this program and will develop the English and academic skills needed degree. The pathway modules students study will depend on their chosen progression degrees at the University. Graduates will receive regular feedback on progress throughout the course so they know they are on the right track. Progression advice is available to support them as well. Once students complete their International Foundation Year in Business, Social Sciences and Humanities and achieve the required grades, they can enter a chosen degree at the University of Sheffield.
