South Seattle College Foundation Scholarships The South Seattle College Foundation awards scholarships annually to current South Seattle College students. Applications typically open from early March to early May for the upcoming academic year. Students may apply every year, even if they have previously received a scholarship. Nearly 50% of applicants receive an award, with the most recent round distributing $434,000 among 102 students, averaging about $4,800 per scholarship. Eligibility Criteria - Must be a current student at South Seattle College (awards are not transferable to Seattle Central or North). - Students attending part-time or full-time are eligible. - Open to international students, DACA/undocumented students, Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) students, Seattle Promise students, and Running Start students graduating from high school this year. - Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 from any Seattle Colleges institution or a former institution. - Students who have applied for a Seattle Colleges Foundation scholarship can also apply for the South Seattle College Foundation scholarship.
