Eligibility Criteria - Must be an international applicant applying to a full-time postsecondary program at Seneca Polytechnic. - Eligible applicants include those: - Currently in Canada or outside Canada. - Paying international tuition fees. - Currently studying in Canada and interested in a second program or bundled programs. - Obtaining or in the process of obtaining an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). - Currently enrolled in an eligible English pathway program in Canada. - Currently studying at Seneca and applying for a new program. - Scholarship applies to all full-time postsecondary programs starting in September 2026, January 2027, or May 2027. - Eligible for multiple scholarships if enrolling in bundled or second programs. Scholarship Value and Payment Schedule - Scholarship amount depends on the length of the program: - One-year program: $2,000 (paid shortly after Day 10 of classes). - Two-year program: $3,000 total ($2,000 in year one, $1,000 in year two). - Three-year program: $4,000 total ($2,000 in year one, $1,000 in years two and three). - Four-year program: $5,000 total ($2,000 in year one, $1,000 in years two, three, and four). - Scholarship payments are made after Day 10 of classes each year. - The scholarship is non-refundable; any overpayment will be applied to future fees. Application Process - Apply to a full-time professional program at Seneca through the International Web Application. - Pay a $90 CAD application fee (credited to your student account upon acceptance). - Upload a valid study permit or Letter of Introduction (LOI) if applying within Canada. - Confirm your offer of admission and pay your first semester fees to receive your Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), if applicable. - Complete all enrollment steps at Seneca. Important Deadlines for Providing SIN or ITN - For January term starters: February 28 - For May term starters: June 30 - For September term starters: October 31 Additional Notes - If you defer admission to a future eligible term, you may still qualify for the $2,000 tuition credit. - Previous recipients of certain Seneca international scholarships for 2025 terms will receive an equal or greater scholarship based on program length. - No cash alternatives or substitutions are available. - Degree program applicants may combine this entrance scholarship with other entrance awards, such as renewable degree scholarships or diploma-to-degree scholarships, which may require separate applications.
