Program Description If the students level of English language does not meet the entry requirements for direct entry to the International Foundation Year, students can join of Cardiff University's English language programmes. When students successfully complete the programme, they can start their International Foundation Year at the International Study Centre. A specialist programme for students wanting to enrol on the International Foundation Year. Boost their IELTS score and gain confidence in their English reading, writing, and speaking ability. Depending on the English language level, students can choose to study for one or two terms. They can then progress to an undergraduate pathway programme at the International Study Centre.
