Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School was founded in 1959, and named after the former British Prime Minister, known mainly for his leadership of the United Kingdom during World War II. The school's colours are navy blue and gold, and its mascot is the Bulldog. Why Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School Ontario curriculum: Sir Winston Churchill students have the opportunity to achieve the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), widely recognized for admission to post-secondary institutions in Ontario, across Canada and the U.S.A., and worldwide.
