College Bourget campus

College Bourget

Rigaud, Canada

Private

Founded by the Clerics of St-Viator in 1850, Collège Bourget has provided quality education in French to generations of students. True to the mission of its founder, Father Louis Querbes, Collège Bourget is open to students from around the world who strive to succeed in their studies. Located at the foot of the mountain in Rigaud, between Montreal and Ottawa, Collège Bourget offers all students a complete living environment. Why Collège Bourget Exciting living environment: International students reside at the school during the week, from Sunday evening until Friday afternoon. On weekends, students reside with host families and participate in their activities. These families are selected by the director of the program. In many cases, one of the family’s children is a student of the school Language camp: Collège Bourget offers summer and winter language camps for groups of 20 students and more. The camps, which vary in length from one week to one month, include French or English classes in the morning, accommodation in the Collège Bourget residence, meals and activities. Weekend excursions to Quebec City, Montreal, or Ottawa may also be planned. The cost of the camp varies with the activities, which are adjusted according to the group’s needs. International study opportunities: Collège Bourget has a great tradition of hosting students from all over the world. International students play an important role in the school’s cultural life. Immersion French classes or English improvement courses are offered to international students. Collège Bourget is more than just a school. It is a complete living environment. Boarders often compare their stay at Collège Bourget with being part of a big family. Extravagant athletic facilities: The sports complex has a semi-Olympic-sized pool, three gyms, a climbing wall, an arena, and a physical training room. The campus also features two soccer and baseball fields, a football field, recess areas, and 12 tennis courts. A diverse athletic and cultural program is offered that promotes the school's educational mission. Visits are also arranged to enable students to familiarize themselves with the school and its culture.
