The Riverside School Board (RSB) came into being on July 1st, 1998, and is an English-language school board on the South Shore of Montreal, Quebec. Riverside School Board is home to 9,500 students registered in their 19 elementary schools distributed all over the Montérégie territory. Riverside is the birthplace of French immersion and offers the International Baccalaureate program. RSB places a great deal of emphasis on students' success and their achievements. They have consistently placed among the top five in Quebec. Their long history of innovation in education, focus on bilingualism, and quality of teachers all combine to make Riverside a different school board where learning is an enriching lifetime experience.
