Why Nottingham Trent University - Clifton Campus Transportation: Sitting on the banks of the River Trent just four miles south-west of Nottingham, Clifton Campus has a regular bus service that takes students from the centre of campus right into the city centre in about 20 minutes. Facilities: From shops and cafes to The Point, Clifton Campus has its own students union complex complete with a bar and nightclub; a vibrant student village with everything a student needs. Sports Village: Clifton Campus is home to indoor and outdoor pitches, multipurpose sports halls, fitness and performance suites, and a whole range of clubs and classes. Clifton Hall: Clifton Hall is a historic manor house sitting high above the River Trent, situated within the Clifton Village Conservation Area, a fantastic spot for some downtime between lectures.
