Sir Allan MacNab is a composite secondary school located on the west mountain of Hamilton. Its catchment area extends into Glanbrook and Ancaster. MacNab was built in 1969 and enjoys a rich heritage of excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. MacNab is proud to offer courses and programs to support all destination pathways. It has a full range of courses that lead to apprenticeship, college, university, and/or the workplace. Why Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School Course variety: Sir Allan MacNab has specialized programs such as special education, advanced placement, and sports academy. It supports students through co-operative education opportunities and volunteer placements in the community. It also offers Specialist High Skills Majors in Arts & Culture, Health & Wellness, and Hospitality & Tourism.
