Garth Webb Secondary School invites each of its 1,100 students in Grades 9 through 12 to use its state-of-the-art technology to enrich and expand their scholastic experience to the outer edges of their imaginations. GWSS is an engaged community where students are given opportunities to achieve their potential, thereby inspiring connectedness, creativity, and citizenship.​ Why Garth Webb Secondary School Course variety: Garth Webb offers Advanced Placement Biology and Calculus & Vectors and two innovative Specialist High Skills Majors in Environmental and Energy. It offers Co-operative Education as well as French Immersion for students continuing their studies in the French language. Extracurricular activities: Garth Webb offers students a number of ways to get involved outside of class, including athletics, clubs, and academic clubs. Students can join sports teams, like basketball or volleyball, participate in choir or concert band, and explore in the robotics or physics clubs, just to name a few.
