College of the North Atlantic (CNA) - Carbonear

College of the North Atlantic (CNA) is Newfoundland and Labrador’s (NL) public college – one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, with a history dating back over 55 years. Today, College of the North Atlantic has 17 campus locations, which include facilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador; thousands of students studying at various partner universities in China; and, a technical education college for the State of Qatar in the Middle East. In NL, CNA has over 100 full-time program offerings for approximately 9,000 students each year. CNA continues to have the lowest tuition fees of any post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada. Why College of the North Atlantic Campus: The Carbonear campus at College of the North Atlantic is located on the east coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. Carbonear is one of Canada’s oldest town’s with a rich cultural history dating back to 1550. The current population is approximately 4,800 residents. Facilities: Carbonear provides a wide variety of services and attractions. Its friendliness and relaxed atmosphere make it an ideal place to attend secondary or post-secondary, work, raise a family, and/or retire.
