Scholarship Awards - Award of Achievement: Up to $40,000 total, distributed as $5,000 to $10,000 per year - Award of Distinction: Up to $16,000 total, distributed as $2,000 to $4,000 per year - Funding is available for up to eight semesters or until degree completion, whichever comes first. Eligibility Criteria - Must be an incoming international first-year student admitted to Iowa State University. - Must be assessed international tuition rates. - Must accept the offer of admission by May 1. - Must submit the OneApp application, including: - The General OneApp application. - The International Student Admissions Scholarship application via the Opportunities > Recommended section for the intended term (fall or spring). Scholarship Retention Requirements To maintain the scholarship throughout your undergraduate studies, you must: - Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 while enrolled. - Enroll continuously in at least 12 semester credits per term (summer sessions excluded). - Remain classified as an international student subject to international tuition rates. - Use the scholarship exclusively for undergraduate tuition and fees. Important Notes - Scholarships are highly competitive and awarded based on academic merit, not financial need. - Official SAT or ACT scores must be submitted during the admission process for scholarship consideration. - Scholarships apply only to undergraduate tuition and fees and cannot be used for other expenses.
