Scholarship Value and Awards - 90% to 100% average: Up to $60,000 total - $15,000 awarded in the first year - Renewable in subsequent years if the required academic average is maintained - 80% to 89.9% average: Up to $40,000 total - $10,000 awarded in the first year - Renewable in subsequent years if the required academic average is maintained Renewal Conditions - Renewable for a maximum of three years or until graduation, whichever occurs first - To maintain the scholarship at the same value, students must keep an average above 80% (GPA = 7.5) or 90% (GPA = 9.5) in subsequent years - If the average drops but remains above 80%, the scholarship amount will be adjusted according to the scholarship grid - Averages are calculated without rounding up - Failure to meet renewal and disbursement requirements results in loss of eligibility Eligibility Criteria - Open exclusively to international students enrolled in undergraduate programs at Laurentian University’s Sudbury campus - Students with a prior degree are not eligible - Must be registered full-time (30 credits per academic year), with at least 24 credits during the Fall/Winter term - Must maintain a minimum average of 80% (GPA = 7.5) to renew the scholarship - Must pay full-time international fees; collaborative programs are excluded - Eligibility is based on the most recent academic results, which must be fully disclosed during application - No application form is required; scholarships are awarded automatically based on admission averages calculated using World Education Service equivalency tables This scholarship program offers a valuable opportunity for international students to fund their undergraduate education at Laurentian University while being recognized for academic excellence.
