The Federation University Early Bird Bursary offers a valuable $3,000 tuition fee discount to new international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees. This bursary is designed to support fee-paying international students who apply and accept their offer to study before specified cut-off dates, encouraging timely enrollment and commitment to study at Federation University. Eligibility Criteria - Must be a fee-paying international student (excluding study abroad, exchange, or online students) - Enrolling as a new/commencing student in an eligible intake period - Must hold a valid visa to study in Australia - Must be enrolled in a Federation University Australia undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree - Must accept the offer and pay fees by the specified cut-off date for the intake Important Dates for 2026 Intakes - Semester 1 2026 - Offshore acceptance deadline: 5 December 2025 - Onshore acceptance deadline: 9 January 2026 - Semester 2 2026 - Offshore acceptance deadline: 24 April 2026 - Onshore acceptance deadline: 22 May 2026 - Summer Semester 2026 - Offshore acceptance deadline: 21 August 2026 - Onshore acceptance deadline: 18 September 2026 Scholarship Value and Conditions - The bursary value is $3,000, awarded as a tuition fee discount - The discount is applied in the third semester of study - The bursary is non-refundable and cannot be converted to cash - If the student withdraws from the course, the bursary will be forfeited - The bursary cannot be deferred to a future calendar year Application Process - No separate application is required - The International Admissions team automatically assesses eligible students upon offer acceptance This bursary is an excellent opportunity for international students to reduce their tuition fees at Federation University by committing early to their studies.
