The Academic Advantage Scholarship at Full Sail University offers substantial financial support for eligible campus degree program candidates, rewarding academic achievement for associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degree students. This scholarship helps reduce tuition costs and encourages continued academic excellence throughout a student’s enrollment. Scholarship Value - Associate’s degree students: Up to $5,000 for the first academic year; total up to $7,500 for all academic years. - Bachelor’s degree students: Up to $6,000 for the first academic year; total up to $15,000 for all academic years. - Master’s degree students: Up to $4,000 for the first academic year; total up to $6,000 for all academic years. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must be first-time students applying for a Full Sail University campus degree program and meet the following minimum academic standards: Undergraduate Applicants - For the first academic year award, applicants must have at least one of the following: - Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale in secondary or postsecondary education (minimum 30 semester credits) - SAT score of 840 or higher (1120 or higher for SAT scores prior to 2016) - ACT score of 17 or higher - For subsequent academic years, a Full Sail University cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher is required. Graduate Applicants - For the first academic year award, applicants must have at least one of the following: - Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in secondary or postsecondary education (minimum 30 semester credits) - SAT score of 927 or higher (1250 or higher for SAT scores prior to 2016) - ACT score of 19 or higher - For subsequent academic years, a Full Sail University cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required. Application Process - Complete the scholarship application and submit it along with high school or postsecondary transcripts, SAT, or ACT scores prior to the first day of class. - Applications and supporting documents can be submitted via the Upload feature, email, or fax as specified by Full Sail University. - Applicants who do not qualify for the first academic year award may still apply for awards in future academic years based on their Full Sail University GPA. Award Determination and Disbursement - Eligibility for the first academic year award is determined by evaluating transcripts and test scores. - Awards for subsequent years depend on maintaining the required Full Sail University GPA. - Scholarship funds are disbursed by semester throughout the student’s enrollment. - Recipients will be notified by the Financial Aid department before each academic year begins. Important Conditions and Exclusions - Scholarship is only for first-time students enrolled in a Full Sail University campus degree program. - Changes in degree program, interruptions, or withdrawals may result in cancellation of the scholarship. - Funds can only be applied toward tuition and have no cash value. - The scholarship is nontransferable. - It may be combined with most other Full Sail University scholarships, though some restrictions apply. - Scholarship funds are limited and available until depleted. - Financial aid options are available for qualifying students.
