Acupuncture is a health practice and component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), a complete health care system approach to treating and preventing disease. Provincial Registration MacEwan University's Acupuncture program prepares students to become a Registered Acupuncturist in Alberta, subject to successful completion of the provincial registration examination administered by the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA). This curriculum is based on the latest national and international standards of competency, ensuring that their skills and knowledge are global.
