With a BBA in Sports Marketing, students will find themselves at the center of a high-profile industry—interning or working at top sports companies, negotiating sponsorship deals for Fortune 500 companies, or working on new product ventures for professional teams like the New York Knicks, New York Mets, and Brooklyn Nets. Through unique courses in sports marketing, sports sponsorship, and special events marketing, students will build on a broad-based marketing core curriculum and develop the knowledge and skills necessary for this unique field, as well as gain insight into marketing’s relationship to the sports industry. Students can combine their passion for sports with professional training unmatched by any other area sports marketing program in the immediate New York metropolitan area. This program provides students with the skills and tools needed to succeed in the global sports industry. Students are introduced to the business of sports from a strategic marketing perspective, both in the classroom and through internships. On the Westchester Campus, Pace competes with many NCAA Division II teams in football, basketball, baseball, softball, swimming, and soccer. Out-of-classroom experiential learning opportunities provided by Pace Athletics and external venues, coupled with faculty specialists in their field teaching courses, are a winning combination in this program.
