Program Description MAP Track 1 is a Master's Accelerator Program admission entry point available to UDayton Global graduate students. MAP Track 1 allows students to take supportive language and acculturation coursework while getting started on degree courses at the same time. MAP Track 1 students at the University of Dayton receive: Two semesters of specialized language and acculturation-supportive coursework Exclusive and rigorous academic coursework Priority access to in-demand courses that fit students' interests Guidance from academic advisors and mentors Career development and networking opportunities Intensive classes with domestic students This program is designed to prepare engineers and aspiring engineers for leadership roles in engineering activities in industry, government, business and the military. The program helps build the analytical and managerial skills students need to plan, design, optimize and direct complex systems, programs and processes. Topics researched by recent graduates include: Optimizing manufacturing, assembly and sequencing operations for a new facility. Developing a model for selecting a supplier for gas turbine engines. Determining the best configuration for a call center via simulation.
