The MSc Electronic and Electrical Engineering course enables students to refine specialist skills alongside pioneering research interests at the College of Engineering. Their learning will reflect the modern demands of the electronics industry. Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the course gives students the ability to effectively plan and execute an intricate program of work, and apply specialist knowledge in industry. Over the course students will develop skills with industry-standard equipment, such as a scanning tunneling microscope for atomic scale probing, and the hp4124 parameter analyzer for power devices. Students will have the chance to build an understanding of prototyping and production methods and components, while learning how to construct and evaluate advanced models of manufacturing techniques.
