Program Description If you are interested in running your own business, you can apply to the entrepreneurship program during your first year. Students who are accepted into the program begin entrepreneurship courses in the fall semester of their sophomore year. Whether you major or minor in entrepreneurship, you'll discover how businesses are conceived, launched and sustained, as well as learn how to successfully compete for financial resources and identify target markets. With our entrepreneurship program, you don't have to wait until after graduation to be a CEO. During the Sophomore Experience, you will create and run a microbusiness with $5,000 in start-up capital. More than $50,000 in venture capital is provided annually to launch these businesses, and you will receive support from the Crotty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership as you move your business from the red to the black. The School of Business Administration's undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
