The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) combines language, culture, and academics to provide students with a deep understanding of life in and out of the American classroom. It includes personalized English-language instruction and tutoring. Students in the Extended Accelerator program will receive: A contextual curriculum that integrates language, culture, and academics Exclusive access to a course focusing on life in the U.S. and the local community A full year’s worth of college credits Extensive English-language tutoring, academic advising, and student support Personalized English-language support tailored to the classes they are taking The LSU Theatre program aims to support its students by offering rigorous training in performance practices, the history and literature of the stage, and the development of critical, conceptual, and argumentative skills essential to a liberal arts education. The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Theatre Studies is designed for students seeking a comprehensive understanding of performance, production, and theatre scholarship. The Theatre Studies concentration provides students with a broad knowledge of theatre craft and allows them to customize their course of study. Theatre Studies students can choose from classes such as: Introduction to Writing Drama Writing Drama Gender and Sexuality in Performance Approaches to the Stage Drama of Africa and African Diaspora History of Theatrical Design
