Program Description The International Baccalaureate Organization aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. Students interested in taking the IB Program (grade 11 and 12) are encouraged to take Enriched courses in grade 9 and 10 where possible. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other Grade 10 students are recommended to take: Grade 10 Enriched English and Math (when possible) Grade 11 MCR3U1 – Functions (with the pre-IB class if possible) Grade 10 Academic Science and History Grade 10 Academic French (if French is their option for Group 2 in IB) Grade 10 Visual Art (if Art is their choice for Group 6 in IB)
