The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) combines language, culture and academics to give applicants a deep understanding of life in and out of the American classroom and includes personalized English-language instruction and tutoring. As a student in the Extended Accelerator, learners will get: A contextual curriculum that mixes language, culture and academics Exclusive access to a course focusing on life in the United States and in the local community A full year’s worth of college credits Extensive English-language tutoring, academic advising and student support Personalized English-language support specific to the classes they take. The Bachelor of Arts in English pairs well with majors and minors across disciplines and can provide beneficial skills to graduates exploring a variety of traditional and innovative career paths. They will learn theoretical and critical approaches to interpretation and research, as well as competence in critical thinking and written expression. English students have gone on to careers in teaching, publishing, public relations, law, politics, journalism, library and information science, and the arts.
