The English Studies Program is for all students who need to improve their English language skills. The program is designed to prepare students for academic success in college and university and to provide them the skills to communicate within English environments. Many international students first enter the English Studies Program before going on to the High School or University Transfer Program. Courses offered range in levels from beginner to university preparation. Students are required to take writing and reading in each level. Coquitlam College offers a wide variety of English courses and immersion experiences for students of any level. The Coquitlam College English Diagnostic Test will determine which skill level is best for each student.
