UTP Stage II: Engineering is equivalent to the first year of the University of Manitoba's Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree. As the oldest engineering school in Western Canada, the Faculty of Engineering prepares graduates for leadership roles with a focus on design-readiness and teamwork. For students who meet the mixed entry English language requirements and the relevant academic requirements, they will commence UTP Stage II with the addition of one academic English course to be taken during the first term of study. Upon successful completion of UTP Stage II, students transfer into the second year of their degree at the University of Manitoba, to continue with their Bachelor of Science (Engineering) program in one of the following areas of study: Biosystems Engineering Civil Engineering Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace option)
