Working in well-equipped shops with highly qualified instructors, students will get practical, hands-on training in: Basic math, drafting and blueprint reading Basic welding, fabrication and installation Conveyance systems, pumps and pipe fitting Mechanical components Preventative maintenance Using tools of the trade Hands-on learning means students will spend much of their time applying what they have learned in Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s well-equipped shops. Strong industry support for Sask. Polytech's students means they will work with the latest tools and equipment. Students will also get a chance to apply their skills during a two-week work experience.
