Program Description The program leading to the BS in Quantitative Finance provides the student with a strong foundation in mathematics, economics, and finance. The successsful quantitative finance students must have strong analytical skills, an excellent aptitude in mathematics, and be able to apply these skills and this aptitude to financial and economic decision-making. The student majoring in quantitative finance begins their curriculum in the freshman year. Though these students do not take the BBA core and COB300, they do take finance courses in their junior year along with the BBA finance majors.
