The Bachelor of Science in Marine Science program equips students with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to explore and understand marine ecosystems. Through applied learning and research, students learn to utilize a wide range of technologies to address the complex relationships among environmental, recreational, cultural, and economic factors that influence the Monterey Bay region and beyond. Laboratory and field experiences allow students to apply techniques in experimental design, data collection, analysis, and presentation, building the competencies needed to monitor and evaluate marine science issues.
