Program Description New York Tech's Bachelor of Science in Biology comprises a core curriculum in humanities and research principles and practices, followed by coursework in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, cell biology, evolutionary biology, general and organic chemistry, physics, and calculus. Our major also fulfills all the requirements for entrance to medical school, or to pursue graduate studies in dentistry, podiatry, veterinary medicine, and other areas. Students will learn within a stimulating and rigorous environment that provides for highly interactive education and research experience. Our faculty members are experts in their fields, offering them a range of hands-on, real-world research opportunities in areas such as anatomy and histology, animal behavior, biochemistry, cancer biology, genetics, microbiology, neuroscience, and molecular and cellular biology.
