Program Description Northeastern Illinois University's undergraduate accounting program is one of the six largest accounting programs in the State of Illinois. Accounting is the language of business, and employees of small and large organizations must understand basic accounting principles. The knowledge of debits and credits, financial statements, and accounting information systems is basic for all business activities.
