Explore this performance-intensive learning experience as a singer or instrumentalist. Student's receive one-on-one instruction from master performer-teachers, attend guest artist classes and have multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. If interested in composition, students will work with professional composers and have the opportunity to write for the University’s many ensembles through the University's composer-in-residence program. Recitals showcase the student's development and accomplishments as a musician, and their experience is enhanced by participation in ensembles. With 24-hour access, the individual practice studios and composition labs provide students with the freedom to hone their skills on campus. Areas of concentration: Brass Composition Guitar Percussion Piano Strings Voice Woodwinds Participate in a dynamic season of graduate and junior recitals, visiting performers and workshops, internship opportunities, recording and producing contracts, professional certification, and competitions at the local to international levels.
