This professional Bachelor of Fine Arts degree has an integrated approach to fine art practice and professional skills combining both the processes of the past with the technology of the future. Southern Utah University prepares the photographers of tomorrow to enter a wide range of photographic specialties from gallery art to commercial photography as well as hybrids of photography and design. Students will gain experience in studio lighting, large format photography, alternative photographic processes, digital capture and printing, and traditional black and white techniques.
