Ryerson's Industrial Engineering program emphasizes effectiveness and efficiency in the design, operation and management of complex systems in manufacturing and services sectors. This focus is presented through a broad curriculum foundation. The Industrial Engineering BEng degree program is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. The first year of study introduces the student to engineering principles and the basics of related disciplines. Core industrial engineering courses begin in the second year. In the third and fourth years, students take professional courses in the area of management science and manufacturing engineering.
