Mechanical engineers are involved in the design and manufacture of products and systems that affect people all over the world, with expertise relevant to many organisations. Students will learn general mechanical engineering, gain highly-sought-after simulation skills and an understanding of business and project management. Specialist subjects include applied mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and electronics. The BEng (Hons) also meets the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).
