The Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry program provides the intellectual tools to address current and future questions about the ever-evolving relationship between music and commerce. Students take courses that prepare them for technology-driven careers in record company operations, touring and concert promotion, artist management, marketing in the digital realm, music supervision, music publishing, and other entertainment industry roles. The program focuses on business and legal concepts as they apply to the commodification of the art form of music. An assortment of courses in music theory, history, and practice, in combination with courses from the Pompea College of Business, provides a foundation in the creative and financial structures of the music industry.
