Student's keep classes small so they can work closely with their professors to master their conversation, writing and reading skills. Outside of class student will have fun taking trips to a local Oktoberfest, the Bullfrog for Stammtisch, and even New York City for a German Opera and dinner with their classmates in Deutschverein, the German Club. When student's are ready, they will be off to Germany to study at affiliate campus, Otto-Friedrich-Universitat, one of the highest-rated universities in Germany. Graduate Outcomes: The majors and minors pursue careers in many different areas. Language study enhances career opportunities in fields such as business, government, healthcare professions, law enforcement, teaching, technology, the military, communications, industry, social services, marketing and many others. Some students choose to continue their education at graduate schools. Language majors often pursue a second major in areas such as psychology, political science, business, music, history, international studies or international business. Knowledge of another language and culture combined with a second major has helped graduates succeed in a variety of professions.
