Program Description The School for Advanced Studies in the Arts and Humanities is the flagship of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. SASAH’s hybrid program combines scholarly investigation, pedagogical innovation, and experiential learning to offer a uniquely interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, and community-engaged educational experience. Courses are taught by Research Fellows drawn from internationally recognized faculty in Classical Studies, English and Writing Studies, Film Studies, French Studies, Languages and Cultures, Philosophy, Visual Arts, and Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies The School for Advanced Studies in the Arts & Humanities at Western University offers an educational experience unique in Canada. SASAH’s advanced 4-year liberal arts program combines interdisciplinary study, language acquisition, community engagement, experiential learning, interaction with digital technologies and environments, and opportunities for international travel and exchange. The School’s enriched learning experience educates students as future research leaders and community leaders and global citizens. NOTE: Please note the English scores listed are minimum requirements. Meeting the minimums does not guarantee admission. Students with low English scores may be admitted to the English BOOST Program, a 9 week training program for conditional admission to their chosen program.
