The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a well-rounded first-year program designed for international students with strong English-language skills. It complements immersive classes taught in English with appropriate support tailored to individual needs. Students enrolled in the Academic Accelerator will benefit from: Tailored support for academic and English-language requirements A full year’s worth of college credits Access to courses specifically designed for international students Assistance with English vocabulary essential for coursework A diverse range of classes with both international and U.S. students Management is the process of efficiently and effectively completing activities with and through others. Planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting are all crucial elements of organizational management. By studying management, individuals can delve into various aspects of organizational behavior, human resources, and industrial and labor relations. Specializations in general management, human resource management, or entrepreneurship are available for further exploration. The Human Resource Management (HRM) Concentration requires students to complete nine hours of advanced courses focused on human resources, such as Employee Selection & Placement, Compensation Administration, and Legal Issues in HRM, along with six hours of elective courses. Upon graduation, students will be equipped to: Assess a firm’s competitive environment Evaluate a firm’s resources and capabilities Identify key managerial issues Address implementation challenges Effectively communicate managerial issues and arguments Potential career paths for graduates include roles such as asset manager, business developer, human resource manager, labor relations director, leadership development trainer, and project manager.
