The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program designed for international students with strong English-language skills. Through teaching, research, and community engagement, the school aims to advance the study and practice of media and public affairs in an ever-evolving global society. Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication at the Manship School can choose from five concentrations: Public relations Digital advertising Political communication Journalism Public relations The journalism concentration at Manship focuses on developing storytelling skills in a multimedia environment. Students learn to create engaging stories across various platforms, including print, broadcast, web, and social media. They receive training in writing, visual storytelling, video production, and editing software, as well as ethical reporting practices and media law.
