Program Description The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program for international students with good English-language skills. It supplements immersive classes taught in English with just the right amount of support. Students in the Academic Accelerator receive: The right amount of support for their academic and English-speaking needs A full year’s worth of college credits Access to courses exclusively for international students English-language help with words they need to know for their classes A mix of classes with international and U.S. students That catchy jingle, that distinctive symbol or image, and all the other cues people associate with a specific product become embedded in their brains thanks to marketing. Marketing is an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating, and delivering value to customers. Through strategic thinking, business acumen, and carefully designed communications, marketing specialists ultimately help organizations identify and satisfy customer needs. Marketing majors at the University of Utah study diverse topics such as market research, consumer behavior, advertising, sales and business development, and international marketing, with one goal in mind: learning how to build brands that people want. Students also have the option of choosing the Professional Selling & Business Development emphasis for the program.
