The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program designed for international students with strong English-language skills. It provides additional support to complement English-taught classes, ensuring students have the necessary assistance to succeed. Students enrolled in the Academic Accelerator Program will receive: Tailored support for academic and English-language needs A full year’s worth of college credits Access to courses specifically for international students English-language assistance for class-related vocabulary A diverse range of classes with both international and U.S. students Within the Bachelor of Arts in International Studies program, students can expect to gain a comprehensive understanding of global issues, with the option to focus on a specific geographic region or areas such as global diplomacy. The program also offers opportunities for study abroad experiences and in-depth exploration of language and culture. Concentrations available within the BA International Studies program include: Africa Asia Environment and Development Europe Global Cultures Global Diplomacy Global Studies Latin America Middle East The Global Diplomacy concentration specifically examines the interactions between nations, with a focus on economic relations, military security, and international law and organizations.
