The Undergraduate Foundation Programme is the first step to academic success at the University of Aberdeen. The specialist programmes helps students to adjust to the Scottish education system whilst they develop their language and subject knowledge, as well as introducing them to University life in a friendly and supportive group of international students. For those dreaming of a career in business, whether it be economics, accounting or real estate, this program could be the first step on a students academic journey. The Undergraduate Foundation Program in Economics, Accounting & Real Estate will prepare them for undergraduate study in a related field at Aberdeen. Equivalent to the first year of a four-year Scottish degree, our pathway program gives you the start you need to graduate in the same amount of time as a domestic student. This three-term program has been designed to complement university studies by introducing students to the learning culture of Aberdeen, all whilst helping them settle into life in the UK. Students will study a range of modules, both academic and language based, to gain the skills needed for academic success at University. After completing the Undergraduate Foundation Program and achieving the necessary grades, students can transition to the second year of their chosen undergraduate degree. Undergraduate degrees at the University of Aberdeen are referred to as Masters of Arts, or MA degrees. A Scottish MA is equivalent to an undergraduate degree. The MA in International Business is designed to develop the leaders of the future. They provide students with a broad understanding of International Business and are designed to equip you to be successful, with an exceptional knowledge and understanding of both its operations and its economic, political and social context.
