The International Year One in Business is designed for international students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree in the United Kingdom, but have a stronger profile than a Undergraduate Foundation Program student. This program is set at level 4, and is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate business degree in the United Kingdom. The duration of the program is one academic year (nine months). The year is divided into three terms of seven to eight teaching weeks, one reading week, and an examination week. On average, students will undertake 23 (and up to 28) hours of classroom-based study per week. This program offers successful students the opportunity to progress to Year 2 of a wide range of business related degrees at London-based universities.
