Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In the Pre-Master's programme, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program. The Pre-Masters in Business, Media and Social Sciences, provides a route to a variety of postgraduate degrees at the University of Sussex. English language and career skills are combined with subject-specific modules such as social sciences, cultural studies, a variety of business skills like accounting and business management to provide you with a strong foundation for your chosen business, media and social sciences degree. Look critically at the differing political and ethical claims on childhood and youth that inform contemporary policy and practice in this Master of Arts in Childhood and Youth Studies. You’ll explore new and original ways of thinking about and working with children and young people. Through the course, you’ll learn to: communicate effectively with child- and youth-focused professionals carry out empirical research with children and young people transfer your analytical, writing and other skills to the workplace.
