Program Description This two-semester course is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. It aims to help you develop the skills you need to join the second year of a related degree at the University of Leeds, by building on your pre-existing English language skills and supporting you through the introduction to a British-style university curriculum. Our teachers work closely with students to bring you a tailored, personal studying experience and allow you to seamlessly enter an undergraduate degree. Studying Biological Sciences can open up a wealth of career options in many different professional fields. This International Year One pathway offers focused subject-specific modules such as neuroscience, genetics, pharmacology and anatomy. There is also a module in academic English language skills included in the pathway, which aims to improve your English language ability to prepare you for academic challenges.
