Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In your international foundation year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program. The International Foundation Year in Engineering, Computing & Science will provide you the skills and tools necessary for success in an undergraduate degree in more than 30 degrees, including a plethora of engineering degrees, computer science, music technology, forensic science and pharmaceutical science. During your time at the University of Huddersfield, you will study core subjects, as well as optional subjects that are intentionally designed for your chosen field of study. All of these skills will be key for future academic success at the University of Huddersfield. The automotive industry is a hugely rewarding sector to get into, if you’re looking to become a leader in a thriving, global industry, working at the forefront of engineering developments, this integrated Master’s course could be the ideal start. With environmentally sustainable vehicles now big business and increasing demand for new technology, products and materials, you could lead projects that will change the world we live in, there are plenty of career paths you could chose to take within this STEM subject, whilst planning for your future. Successfully completing the MEng course means that you graduate with a Postgraduate level qualification, which can give you an advantage in the job market. We want to help you make the most of all the exciting opportunities the automotive industry has to offer. So we’ve designed our course to give you the chance to prepare for the next step. As an integrated Master’s student, you’ll study the same content as the Automotive and Motorsport Engineering BEng(Hons), then complete a final year for your Master’s. In that final year we'll concentrate on management skills, all with the aim of enabling you to go on and become a leader in this exciting industry. From designing components for high-performance cars, through to working as a trackside team engineer or even developing the next generation of mass produced vehicles that don't damage the planet. You could be at the forefront of technology reducing emissions to protect the environment for the future, it’s all possible, and it all starts here.
