Program Description The Pre-Masters Programme is a fast-track programme, designed for students who would like to gain the specialist skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their Masters degree at Liverpool John Moores University. Students will build on the knowledge gained in their undergraduate studies, whilst developing their practical English language abilities, as well as study and research skills. The Pre-Masters in Business, Management & Law will introduce students to the legal world and the world of business. Through the use of application learned in modules, students will come to gain valuable insights that will key to their chosen progression degree. As part of the Pre-Masters Programme in Business, Management and Law students will: gain an understanding of the analysis of academic concepts and issues relating to operations management, organisational strategy and organisational behaviour with an emphasis on critically evaluating ideas and applications identify the limitations of business models and management theory complete a subject related research project if students take the Law route, they will study the principles of legal methods, legal argument and legal concepts are outlined, and they are encouraged to develop skills in legal argument.
